STEM Education: The Future of Teaching
Is STEM Education the future of teaching or a passing fad? Is it something schools should do on their own or is there a role for community/business partnerships? And what is currently being done in the field? Join WVPT at Blue Ridge Community College's Plecker Center on Monday, August 3 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. as we explore STEM Education.

The cost is $25 and includes lunch. To register send your name and registration fee to John Neumann at WVPT, 298 Port Republic Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Payment should be made to WVPT.

Monarch Live
The last programs from the series MONARCH LIVE EFT were not available for broadcast but they are now available as streaming video at http://monarch.pwnet.org. “Little Spaces; Big Results” was webcast on May 19 from Eden Place Nature Center, a garden oasis in the middle of Chicago. This program will teach young students how small garden plots can have big results for butterflies and people.
