Children in grades K-5 are invited to a WVPT Writers Workshop. We will learn how to begin to write a story which may be finished and submitted to the PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest this coming winter.

Three Ways to Videostream |
|
The WVPT Education Services website at wvpt4learning.org serves as a portal for videostreamed content. On the website, find Videostreaming under Quick Links to access all streamed content.
WVPT streaming: Select WVPT video content is now videostreamed on the website and may be accessed after registration.
Discovery Education streaming: Teachers’ Discovery Education (DE) Streaming account may be accessed through the WVPT website portal.
Virginia iTunesU: This is a dedicated area maintained by VDOE within Apple's iTunes Store providing free access to an array of educational content. Students, teachers and other registered users can download audio and video content onto computers and handheld devices with podcast capabilities.

2010 Writers Contest Winners |

Over 300 illustrated stories were submitted by children in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade throughout our service area. Stories were then judged by over twenty educators, librarians, business leaders and WVPT staff.
